Position Overview

Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Professional Services is a key member of the executive management team and will be responsible for leading and managing the Company's professional services team with full profit & loss responsibility to achieve both top line and bottom growth targets.

The Professional Service team delivers consulting services to attract new customers to the company as well as to enhance the company's relationship with existing customers.  Currently the team offers three types of consulting engagements: 1) Training and deployment for the company's security product line; 2) Security assessments such as penetration tests and social engineering; 3) Audits and gap analysis to measure compliance with standards such as PCI and HIPPAA. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's professional services team, working as part of the executive team as a direct report to the CEO.
  • Direct a world class group of technical security professionals, and continue to build the team through strategic hires.
  • Build an end to end services strategy to guide our efforts in the coming years.
  • Manage the Professional Services P&L to achieve both top line and bottom line targets.
  • Engage with the sales team and high level customer prospects to close business and manage post-delivery follow-up.
  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to refine our services value proposition and sales approach to maximize customer conversion and post-sales success.
  • Build a repeatable, high quality services delivery model that results in exceptional customer satisfaction, high staff utilization and gross margins, and high repeat business.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven leadership and people management skills working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to hire a world class team and inspire them to deliver outstanding results.
    • Strong management and people development skills with a proven track record of developing and retaining superior services talent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  Ability to present to executives and the board of directors, work with C-level customers, and serve as a company spokesperson.
  • Proven track record of success in an end-to-end consulting delivery role, including developing a strategy and executing the resulting plan to drive measurable business results.
    • Demonstrated ability to create measurable goals and follow through with detailed execution, insuring high quality end to end results.
    • Demonstrated ability to set a budget and execute to that budget through the year.
  • Strong technical background including undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
