Mike joined Rapid7 in 2008 to lead its transformation to a global leader in information security with a strong focus on corporate strategy, external relations and corporate development. Prior to joining the company, he was the general manager of Microsoft's SQL Server marketing team, leading worldwide strategic planning and revenue-generating efforts, including product marketing, field programs, product planning and partner strategy. Mike has had two stints totaling nine years at Microsoft in an expanding range of product development and marketing roles. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brown University (magna cum laude), a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar). He is a finalist in the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program for New England.

Tas is a Rapid7 co-founder, CTO and acting VP of Engineering at Rapid7 and has been part of the Matthews and Devine team since 1990. Giakouminakis helped form Percussion Software in 1994 where he led the server development of Notrix, Percussion's first product. In addition, he led the server development team for Rhythmyx, Percussion's Enterprise Content Management system. Tas left Percussion to launch Rapid7 in 1998. Prior to his recent experiences, he worked in the financial services sector, developing software in the security and risk areas for CitiCorp.

Christina Luconi leads Rapid7's strategic people initiatives as its Chief People Officer. She is responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, with critical focus on recruiting stellar talent, corporate culture, and acquisition integration expertise. Prior to joining Rapid7, Christina was the owner of People Innovations, an independent consulting firm focused on the creation of innovative people strategies for start-ups and high growth companies, primarily in the high technology and Internet industry. Christina also served as Chief People Officer @stake, a professional services security firm (acquired by Symantec) which she helped build from the launch through its acquisition to Symantec and Vice President of People Strategy at Sapient Corporation. Christina has been featured in several articles regarding her visionary approach to human resources. She holds a B.A. in psychology from George Washington University and an M.S. in organizational administration from Boston University.

HD is Chief Security Officer at Rapid7 and Chief Architect of Metasploit, the leading open-source penetration testing platform. HD founded the Metasploit Project in the summer of 2003 with the goal of becoming a public resource for exploit code research and development. Prior to joining Rapid7 and continuing his work on the Metasploit Framework, HD was the Director of Security Research at BreakingPoint Systems, where he focused on the content and security testing features of the BreakingPoint product line. Prior to BreakingPoint, HD spent seven years providing vulnerability assessments, leading penetration tests, and developing exploit code.

Kara joined Rapid7 in 2011 and is responsible for direct and channel sales in the Americas, and sales operations. Kara was previously Eastern Region Sales Vice President at Oracle Corporation, the second largest independent software company in the world. In OracleDirect, she was last responsible for more than $100M in sales across a global sales team of 110 people. She exceeded budget and growth objectives in the last eight quarters and she received the SVP Leadership Award in 2008 as the #1 VP. Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts from American University in Washington, DC where she graduated Cum Laude with honors.

Richard Li is responsible for strategy, corporate development, and product management at Rapid7. His main passion and focus at Rapid7 is bringing great people and innovative technologies together to solve customer problems. Richard joined Rapid7 in 2009 to build the product management organization and prior to this led vertical strategy and business development at Red Hat. He also worked in various leadership roles in engineering and sales at Red Hat. Richard holds a B.S. and M. Eng. in computer science from MIT.

Patty Wright is responsible for leading and managing Rapid7's world-class Professional Services Organization. Patty comes to Rapid7 with a wealth of over 20 years experience in Professional Services, IT Management and Support Services. Prior to Rapid7 Patty was Senior Director for Symantec Consulting, managing a large, highly skilled consulting team delivering security consulting and product implementation engagements to extremely high levels of client satisfaction for Symantec's Southeast and Central U.S. and Canadian regions. Wright joined Symantec through the company's acquisition of @stake, a top-tier boutique consulting firm focused solely on high-end security products and consulting. While at @stake, Wright was the Regional Director for the Central and South-East U.S. Patty holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.

Corey is Rapid7's President and Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for sales, marketing, engineering and operations. Corey has more than 12 years’ experience growing technology businesses. Corey joined Rapid7 in 2008 to focus on scaling business operations including building out the marketing, product management and operations functions. Prior to joining Rapid7, he led consumer sales, marketing, and business development as a vice president at Parallels, a global leader in virtualization and automation solutions. Corey also held a number of leadership positions in the Microsoft Server and Tools division, launching the worldwide availability of SQL Server 2005 and steering product planning for Microsoft's data platform and storage strategy. Prior to that, he was a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Corey holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University (magna cum laude) and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar).

Tim joined Rapid7 as CFO in September 2008 to manage all aspects of finance and human resources. Previously, Tim was the CFO at Mzinga, the leading provider of business social media and learning solutions. From 2004 to 2007, Tim was Vice President of Finance for Bladelogic (acquired by BMC Software in 2008). While in that role, he was instrumental in increasing revenue sources, establishing eight foreign subsidiaries and completing the Bladelogic initial public offering, raising $98 million. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

As vice president of Customer Experience, Jennifer leads the Technical Support Services, Account Management, Community and Customer Programs teams, all focused on supporting and empowering Rapid7's customers. She joined Rapid7 in 2008 to build, scale, and optimize the customer engagement and internal operational structure as the company expands across new markets, product lines, and geographic locations. Jennifer began her career in client services for McKesson Pharmaceuticals in 1998 and moved on to Iron Mountain in 2004.

His 15 years' experience in global marketing also include vice president of marketing roles at Oblicore (acquired by CA), a global provider of service level management software, and Navisite (acquired by Time Warner Cable), a leading provider of enterprise-class, cloud-enabled hosting, managed applications and services.

Before he co-founded Rapid7, Chad was a Principal Developer at Percussion Software where he was instrumental in bringing their Rhythmyx content management system to market. Chad also held positions at Cognex, where he developed software for machine vision, and IBM, where he worked on communications systems for the Department of Defense.
