NeXpose System Requirements

The NeXpose Security Console and the NeXpose Scanning Engine can run on two separate machines or on one together. In either case, the following are the requirements of any machine which is to run one or both components:

Recommended System Requirements

  • Dedicated server with no IPS/IDS/Virus Scanning
  • 2 GHz processor and later (1 GHz minimum)
  • 2 GB RAM (1 GB minimum)
  • 80 GB + available disk space (10 GB minimum)
  • Gigabit Network Interface Card

Windows

  • MS Windows Server 2000
  • MS Windows Server 2003
