Hello to all of you! It's been far too long since I have posted a blog, so it's time to get on with the next happy hour chat. So much to catch you up on…
We recently welcomed our newest additions to the Rapid7 family – the London and Hong Kong teams! We have officially opened our doors in the UK and beyond, spreading Nexpose and Metasploit across the pond. Our global expansion is firmly underway and we will soon have more details on how our support team will be expanding as well.
The summer wrapped up with another significant milestone forRapid7 – the UNITED Security Summit in San Francisco. I think I sent a few emails out about it (J). The speakers were world-class, the sessions were filled with great content, and the dynamic networking was a huge added benefit. But my favorite event of the summer, hands down, was the launch of our Rapid7 Customer Forum. It was held the day before UNITED kickedoff. We reserved a boutique wine shop near Fisherman's Wharf, right in Ghirardelli Square. The venue was outstanding with a priceless view of the Bay and Alcatraz. We even ordered up perfect weather, just for our customers. Yep,we are that good J.Our product developers shared our vision on where we are taking our company and our products as we continue to innovate into the future. The interaction was engaging and impactful for everyone.
We carried the same theme throughout the conference with our dedicated customer lounge...a swanky customer lounge. Decked out with white leather couches, a VIP open bar, and a full staff of engineers and executive leadership on staff for one on one time for every customer who attended. What a great experience all the way around. Not to mention the full night of dancing. I won't call out any customers by name, but let it be said that some of you can dance your pants off!
