Happy Friday, Federal friends! Due to the heavy amount of CDM paperwork I've had to do this week I'm going to keep today's blog very short.
As we forge ahead into the spending spree that is Q4 of FY14, it's important to know how to navigate the buying process on the federal side of the house. FCW has a great article this week offering a host of tips on making purchases, without running into roadblocks. While these tips may not apply to every situation I suggest taking a look at the article for some helpful advice.
Additionally, there was a report this week of a major breach involving federal credentials. I suggest taking steps within your organization to mitigate any potential risk, and inform your users to start changing their information. Both in and out of your networks as the attackers can potentially use the compromised information both inside, and outside your perimeter.
Things aren't always as they first appear, the attackers are relentless. Stay vigilant.
