One of Komand's key missions is to help cultivate a more open, empathetic, and connected community within cybersecurity. The company was founded on these very principles, and between working on our Komunity, co-organizing local meetups and major syndicates, and sharing knowledge at community-driven events, we’re proud advocates.
Which is why we are excited to announce that we’re sponsoring and attending a quintessential community event, BSides DC.
Now, we’re no strangers to BSides. We are ardent supporters. Our Founder and CEO, Jen Andre, spoke at BSides Boston earlier this year, and the entire Komand team was in attendance. It will likely come as no surprise that we’ve also been fervently building the most effective and inclusive security orchestration and automation solution yet.
So on the weekend of October 22, BSides DC attendees will get the** first public glance at Komand**. We will demo the product for all to see, and have a full staff available to chat and answer any questions.
We couldn’t think of a better place than BSides DC to showcase the great things we’ve been working on. As a purely community-driven organization, BSides DC operates under three simple principles:
- Expand the conversation
- Enable people to join the discussion
- Get people involved
All three are admirable goals. These principles are what we at Komand also try to imbue within our own culture. And when it comes to supporting the broader security community, we couldn’t be more pleased to sponsor an event that shares our vision.
So join us at BSides DC on October 22 and October 23! Say hi and let’s expand the conversation. And of course, catch a glimpse of how we’re going to make security operations more effective for everyone.
P.S. We will have a “Hacker Stock Photo” Photo Booth, so prepare your extreme hacker poses. We’ll have the Matrix digital rain background ready for you.
