The Opportunity 

The Rapid7 Experience Design Studio cultivates end-to-end experiences that build lasting, meaningful relationships with our customers. The Senior Manager, Web Operations will join the studio's Digital Strategy team to lead the charge on bringing our values to life and shaping the Rapid7 identity across our digital properties. In this role you'll own the end-to-end technical strategy of as well as other web assets, and you're ready to dig in and make Rapid7 a destination for all things cybersecurity. To excel in this role you need deep experience managing, optimizing and launching enterprise websites coupled with a collaborative and customer centric mindset. This role will report to the Senior Director of Digital Strategy.

In this role you will:

  • Own the overall development and delivery of the presence, from roadmap to development and execution

  • Manage and maintain the website and its development team and ensure on time delivery of all web projects

  • Work within Agile framework and drive priorities and results of a dedicated Agile team

  • Identify and fill gaps within the current development and QA process

  • Constantly improve site experience by encouraging a mindset among your team to improve platform performance and the resulting customer experience

  • Own overall delivery, assessment, and measurement of the development lifecycle, and the tools used to produce the work

  • Work with Creative Producers and stakeholders across the organization to build out site experiences, interactions, and tools

  • Manage our DMP (Data Management Platform) and partner with data and analytics stakeholders for optimization recommendations

  • Identify new opportunities and solutions to drive the technical platform forward – be on top of what's best in class and what's up and coming

  • Partner closely with our technology team to identify elegant and efficient technology solutions

  • Work with the Content and Web Performance team to improve organic search rankings by implementing SEO best practices (technical SEO, backlinks and international SEO)

  • Oversee the localization of Rapid7's websites on a centralized Content Management System (CMS), working with regional stakeholders

  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing teams and agency to implement best-in-class website tracking, lead management, data management and media strategy

  • Manage Rapid7's contract development team as well as the internal team and oversee key projects

  • Provide guidance to agencies in the development of web assets, such as content marketing hubs, microsites, etc.

In return you will bring:

  • 7-10 years of experience in website management or equivalent

    • Background in enterprise cybersecurity, cloud/SaaS or other IT environments a big plus

  • Strong knowledge and experience in enterprise web development and:

    • Process-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

    • Top-notch interpersonal, organizational and communication skills coupled with the ability to work cross-functionally in a diverse corporate environment

    • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously amid ambiguity to meet marketing objectives

  • Expertise in software development lifecycles and, familiarity with program management tools, such as Jira

  • Demonstrated ability for strategic, outside-the-box thinking when it comes to problem solving and removing roadblocks

  • Able to demonstrate innovation while successfully tackling challenges in new and creative ways in often-stressful, deadline-intensive environments

  • BA or BS in marketing, business management, operations management or related field
