The Opportunity

Customer environments are changing rapidly driven by cloud and virtual workforce transformation. Strategic Partners deliver customer value based on the needs and maturity of a customer's security program, from fullfillent to integration, managed services and implementation and evolving marketplace and cloud provider models. Rapid7's focus, investment and strong partnerships will continue to ensure that together we help make the most successful security technology and practices accessible for all.

As a leader in the Strategic Partnership Practice, the Program Director will own and develop R7 GTM Partnership Programs to integrate globally across Channel, MSSP, Alliance & Cloud Providers to ensure alignment and optimization globally which produce an effective GTM resulting in strong customer outcomes and shared revenue optimization. Working closely with Partner leaders, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Operations, the Program Director will drive the development of global Partner Readiness Programs to drive pipeline creation and improved retention, including the launch of new products, offerings, certifications and incentives. 

To ensure a globally aligned approach, the Program Director will also project manage program initiatives to improve Partner Total ARR across segments, including areas such as Marketplace integration models, Subscription Renewal & Retention systems, MSSP process integration, Solution Delivery certification programs and enhanced Partner deal registration and engagement models. 

The Role

This role is both strategic and highly tactical, requiring a flexible approach and a strong cross-functional collaborator who can successfully work in a performance-based organization to drive consensus and build executable plans based on company and regional strategic initiatives.

Ideal leaders will have a curiosity to understand what is driving customer growth in regions and across partner segments. With a passion for engaging and transforming 

  • Extend and establish Partner programs to ensure Partners can support Rapid7 solution delivery that aligns with Rapid7 customer experience investments and supports overall customer health. 

  • Create and own a readiness framework to implement and impact enablement and campaign activities to ensure Partner reach and retention resulting in the growth of pipeline and healthy retention across Partners.

  • Partner with Operations leaders to establish processes that ensure we can execute seamlessly with our Partners across multiple models, in a scalable and effective GTM model with the ability to support and achieve goals and supporting plans to deliver on those targets.

  • Partner closely with stakeholders in Marketing and Sales to align around campaigns and ensure Partner goals deliver opportunities and results.

About You

  • 7+ years of relevant program and project management experience delivering impact and results

  • Strong understanding of software partner ecosystems, security partners preferred but not required

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking balanced with ability to quickly understand business objectives, create a well-aligned strategy and execution plans with clearly defined metrics and performance indicators. 

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure projects are on track at all times.

  • Experience in working cross-functionally, with multiple stakeholders, to achieve desired outcomes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analysis and presentation skills, with proven ability to align teams and stakeholders to a common goal

  • Experience attracting, hiring, retaining and developing a high-performance team.

Ability to operate and excel at strategic as well as tactical levels, willing to roll up one's sleeves and commit to delivering positive impact
