As we continue to evolve and grow as a company, Rapid7 is looking for an innovative leader that will drive the People Programs and Ops team and help us take our commitment to the development of our people, managers and leaders to the next level. As the Sr. Manager of People Programs and Operations, reporting to the VP of People Strategy, you will be a key leader in the achievement of this mission through a focus on impactful talent programs, seamless processes and value added analytics. As a key member of the People Strategy leadership team, you will have the opportunity to drive operational excellence and help us scale our approach to the development of our people and teams to create a platform to provide exceptional career experiences for all of our people today and in the future.
The People Strategy and People Development teams work hand in hand to create innovative talent management programs, practices and learning content (Manager Effectiveness program, Leadership Development program, Career Development Plans, 9 Box, Continuous Feedback process) aimed at strengthening our leadership/management bench and unlocking the potential of our people while keeping a keen focus on our culture and core values. In this role, you will work closely with the team to develop, enhance and implement these people programs, measure their impact and optimize our internal processes to enable fast paced growth.
What The Role Will Look And Feel Like:
Work with the People Development and People Strategy teams to build and manage scalable impactful talent programs
Utilize people data to tell the story of the employee lifecycle at Rapid7 and understand the impact of people programs on the employee experience
Shape and lead communication and roll-out strategies for large-scale program and process evolutions to ensure employee engagement
Partner with the Total Rewards team to ensure the effective utilization of Workday and systems in our Talent Development strategy
Work with the current team to program manage the Manager Effectiveness Index initiative, aimed at assessing the experience of our people with their people managers
Lead and execute against the Data Analytics and Reporting workstream of the Manager Effectiveness Index initiative
Collect and analyze people data (retention, exit interviews, Management Effectiveness, tenure, feedback) to help iterate, scale and inform next steps from both a learning and a people strategy perspective
Work to analyze and understand turnover data and exit interviews to partner with the People Strategy team and develop insights and build actionable strategies to improve retention and engagement of our top talent
Work with the Total Rewards team and the People Strategy leaders to build and enhance data dashboards that can provide business leaders with insights to help drive effective business decisions
Work with the current People Program and Ops team to ensure streamlined, optimized and evolving processes within the People Strategy team and clean integration points with the Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition teams
Be a thought partner and work collaboratively across the PS and PD teams in order to propel our and the company's goals forward
Embody Rapid7 core values in how you lead and manage through complex and challenging situations
7 - 10 years of professional work experience in People Strategy with progressive experience in Talent Management, Performance Management, Data Analytics, project/program management and process improvement
Bachelors of Arts or Science required
Experience developing people and managers required
Strong desire and proven success in finding innovative solutions to how we build programs that create impact for our people
Experience using Workday as the platform to execute talent management programs, practices and learning content
Experience with leading programs all the way from idea through implementation, including managing through challenges and change
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to evaluate current state, find opportunities for improvement and develop a roadmap to bring people along and execute
Leads teams with a learning mindset - you encourage your team to try something different and learn from mistakes
Proactive, self-motivated and has a strong work ethic
