The Opportunity 

The Rapid7 Experience Design Studio cultivates end-to-end experiences that build lasting, meaningful relationships with our prospects, trialers and customers. The Senior Manager, Digital Performance will join the studio's Digital Strategy team to lead the charge on bringing our values to life and shaping the Rapid7 identity across our digital properties. In this role you'll own the end-to-end performance and optimization strategy of our paid media and SEO, all the way through as well as other web assets. You're ready to dig in and make Rapid7 a destination for all things cybersecurity, and drive the business forward. To excel in this role you need deep experience managing, optimizing and launching paid media campaigns, enterprise website performance initiatives, coupled with a collaborative and customer centric mindset. Strong interpersonal relationships are a must at Rapid7. This role will report to the Senior Director of Digital Strategy.

In this role you will:

  • Own the performance measurement, optimization, and conversion of the presence, paid digital strategies, and SEO

  • Manage a team of web strategists, SEO specialists, paid acquisition specialists, digital analysts and 3rd party agencies we work with

  • Drive the implementation of digital analytic best practices to become a test, measure and iterate organization

  • Constantly improve site experience and the overall digital journey by encouraging a mindset among your team to improve user and conversion experience, and the ability to measure and point to how changes impacted the results

  • Own personalization and conversion experience strategy in paid digital and on site.

  • Work with Creative Producers and stakeholders across the organization to build out site experiences, interactions, and tools that drive visitor engagement and ultimately conversion throughout the different stages of our funnel

  • Manage our DMP (Data Management Platform) and partner with data and analytics stakeholders for optimization recommendations

  • Work with the Content and Web Development team to improve organic search rankings by implementing SEO best practices (technical SEO, backlinks and international SEO)

  • Partner with Marketing Operations, Web Development and agencies to implement best-in-class website tracking, lead management, data management and media strategy

  • Manage Rapid7's third party contractors in support of our paid digital, website performance and optimization

  • Provide guidance to agencies in the development of web assets, such as content marketing hubs, microsites, etc.

  • Drive change and focus on how to target international markets with website localization, paid media and SEO.

In return you will bring:

  • 7-10 years of experience in website performance, paid acquisition or equivalent for a B2B organization

    • Background in enterprise cybersecurity, cloud/SaaS or other IT environments a big plus

  • Strong knowledge and experience in enterprise web performance and:

    • Process-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

    • Top-notch interpersonal, organizational and communication skills coupled with the ability to work cross-functionally in a diverse corporate environment

    • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously amid ambiguity to meet marketing objectives

  • Demonstrated ability for strategic, outside-the-box thinking when it comes to problem solving and removing roadblocks

  • Ability to build strong relationships with an array of different stakeholders at Rapid7

  • Able to demonstrate innovation while successfully tackling challenges in new and creative ways in often-stressful, deadline-intensive environments

  • BA or BS in marketing, business management, operations management, analytics or related field
