Rapid7 is looking for a talented, driven, and curious product marketer to join our growing Cloud Security Practice. In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to grow and scale the go-to-market function for an emerging market that represents huge revenue potential for the company.
This person will play an integral role in the positioning of InsightCloudSec, our flagship cloud security offering. You will help craft and communicate our value proposition, working collaboratively across the company to drive alignment around a cloud security message that differentiates our solution in a highly-competitive market.
In 2022, your impact will be felt through the delivery of refined product messaging and collateral, support of our ongoing integrated marketing campaign, and direct influence on product roadmap and vision.

Customer Advocacy - Above all else, act as an internal customer champion by deeply understanding what makes them tick, what their challenges are, and how we can help them achieve their desired security outcomes. Engage directly with customers and customer-facing teams to elevate our core messaging, case studies, customer research, and customer use case examples.
Messaging Development & Storytelling - Work with Cloud Security Practice leaders and your partners in Marketing and Sales to translate the product capabilities into value messaging that resonates with both business and technical customer personas.
Go-to-Market - Understand the various levers required to optimize the marketing funnel and drive awareness, education, conversion, and adoption. Bring to life our target segments, illustrating how to target and message to each one in the most effective way to maximize our sales and marketing effectiveness.
Content Marketing - Work with experts across the organization to create remarkable content including product briefs, thought leadership content, blog posts, customer presentations, video testimonials, case studies, etc.
Research & Insights - Become an expert on the cloud security market. Understand customer needs, track and analyze industry trends, and uncover how our solutions differentiate from our competitors'.
Analytics - Measure quantitative results on campaign performance, customer usage data, and overall growth in coordination with marketing, product management, and sales.
Qualifications And Traits
4+ years in product marketing with experience in B2B technology
Proven ability to work cross-functionally, influencing priorities through relationships across levels, departments, and geographies
Superior capacity to deliver simple explanations and tell engaging stories that clearly convey who we are, what we do, why we do it, and why it's best
Skilled written and verbal communicator, with comfort presenting in front of large audience
A technical background or an aptitude and curiosity for technical subjects
Data-driven, balancing intuition with measurable results, analyzing and communicating using data
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
Past experience in cyber security is a plus
