Rapid7 is looking for a passionate Director of Commercial Infrastructure who can lead a variety of cross-functional programs focused on transforming Rapid7 through a portfolio of commercial offerings. As a member of our Commercialization Team, you will be a critical partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Platform, BI, Customer Experience and the Product teams as well. This position offers an impactful opportunity to help us develop a creative vision for how we approach monetizing our products and services, enable our differentiation from our competitors, and continue to drive Rapid7 on our journey to $1b+.
Drive commercial outcomes collaboratively across the entire organization to align workstreams and deliver key business and customer results
Lead the strategy and execution of commercial infrastructure initiatives
Manage business and data analyst direct reports as well as other teams to build playbooks and other enablement tools for customer support, sales, and other groups to build and support newly launched offerings
Communicate progress to senior leadership, facilitating trade-offs and strategic program decisions
Create a center of ‘business excellence' around Commercial Infrastructure (People, Process & Technology)
Oversee the timely delivery of the Run-the-Business offerings pipeline
Drive process decisions across a wide array of business functions but also facilitate thought leadership on substantial commercial infrastructure decisions
Own the business execution of key stages in the initiative transformation by working across Rapid7 to determine the best way for the business to achieve its transition goals.
Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate insights into execution
High attention to detail as well as the ability to put details in a broader context to determine priorities
Strong relationship management skills and a history of leading through influence
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems and work collaboratively
Experience in business process change in large, complex organizations
Background in SaaS-style products and technology services is highly desirable
Understanding of the “Quote-to-Cash” process and system integrations
Experience in a variety of ‘go-to-customer' functional roles ideally at technology companies
Consulting experience is a plus
High degree of emotional intelligence, ability to facilitate change and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization
Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and data
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial-spirited company on the journey to scale to $1b+
