Job Description
As a Domain Engineer at Rapid7, you will be on a team of subject matter experts, working across organizations, partnering and assisting pre-sales to close deals, improve our products, processes, and procedures, and be an advocate for our customers. You'll serve as a subject matter expert within Vulnerability Management and liaison with Sales Engineering, Sales, Product Management, Support & Customer Success to continue to champion our customers and Sales Engineers across our organization.
Responsibilities
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Rapid7's most complex and strategic vulnerability management engagements
Collaborate with cross-practice partners to advance Rapid7's portfolio strategy
Create and evolve Sales Engineer Technical Demo Frameworks
How to demo solution
How to POC solution
Troubleshooting guidelines
Mentor Technical Specialists and SEs
Support Sales Engineers and Sales team with opportunities
Handle escalated technical issues during Proof of Concepts
Deliver training on Rapid7 solutions to Rapid7 Employees & Channel Partners
Troubleshoot and resolve various customer issues
Report defects and feature requests/enhancements
Escalate issues to Support Management as necessary, driving the issue to resolution
Technical Projects
Present Product Roadmap
Product Lab Creation and Improvement
Collaborate with Product Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing teams
Requirements
5+ years experience in Information Security or Sales Engineering with experience in the following areas:
Information Security principles and best practices
Vulnerability Management (InsightVM/Nexpose is a plus)
Administration of Windows and Linux operating systems
Patch Management processes and technologies
Virtualization, container, and cloud technologies
Networking principles to include the use of network mapping processes
Expert understanding of the security space
Expert understanding of integration processes and API's
