Opportunity

The VP, Customer Advisors will lead a global and rapidly expanding team working closely with Rapid7's post sales delivery teams and product practices. The role provides a hands-on leadership opportunity for developing and steering a global team across the Americas, EMEA & APAC. You will lead our go-to-market Customer Advisor Servicing strategy, gathering input from cross-functional teams, the market and our customers. This is a key leadership role that will have influence over the strategic direction of our Managed Services business, and is a chance to join a high-performing organization that is a tremendous part of Rapid7's future growth. The Role

  • Manage & lead a diverse global team of Customer Advisors 

  • Serve as an escalation point internally and externally with customers

  • Identify process improvements and work cross-functionally to take action to bring in appropriate structure and consistency as we scale

  • Solidify our go-to-market servicing motion and roll it out globally

  • Build out appropriate partnerships with MSSPs to support our customer base

  • Mentor junior leaders and individual contributors, building a solid leadership bench for the future of the team

  • Partner with Rapid7 executives, sales, customer success and product teams to exceed revenue and retention targets

  • Be seen as a security thought leader at Rapid7 and with our customers


 

Qualifications and Traits

  • 15+ years of experience in IT or security solutions

  • Proven ability to build and scale teams in fast-paced environments

  • Outstanding leadership experience with the ability to unite and inspire teams

  • Background in change management and aligning organizations for maximum impact

  • Strong relationship building and management skills with experience working cross-functionally to achieve team and company goals

  • Experience with multiple security products and servicing

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred

  • Arlington, Virginia; Austin, Texas; or Boston, MA location is preferred; willingness to travel is required
