Job Responsibilities: 

  • Represent Rapid7 in assisting customers with resolving complex technical problems. 

  • Learning and expanding your knowledge of our Vulnerability Management Platform 

  • Troubleshooting investigations and identifying defects or false positive alerts

  • Creating innovative workflows to analyze large log files in order to get to the bottom of any reported issues

  • Performing ad-hoc assistance for additional technical support initiatives and database administration as they arise

  • Help drive overall productivity and scale for the technical support team

Job Requirement:

  • Naturally technical; able to understand technical challenges and concepts

  • Bachelor's degree candidate (min. GPA of 3.0) with prior technical internship and/or customer service experience

  • Enjoys working with technical equipment and exercising problem solving skills

  • Ability to effectively translate technical engineering jargon

  • Exceptional written and communication skills

  • Self-motivated and accountable; able to take direction and manage prioritization of work

  • Results-oriented and collaborative; able to work independently as well as part of a team

Nice to haves: 

  • Knowledge of security and vulnerability management

  • Demonstrable command of administering multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, MacOS)

  • Previous relevant certifications a plus (AWS, Azure, Google, CompTIA, Microsoft)

  • Understanding of log analysis methods (using regex to debug large log files)

  • Knowledge of Grafana, Kibana or other graphing tools

  • Experience working with API's
