Rapid7's Experience Design team is driving the transformation of the brand and creating the end-to-end experiences that build meaningful relationships with our customers. We're a team that believes boundaries are for pushing and what we did last time is just the beginning of what we'll do next.
The Lead Designer in the Experience Design Studio will work with a team of designers and product owners while partnering with our brand, content, digital, experiential, and marketing teams to craft thoughtful and creative executions. This is an opportunity to flex your mind and think conceptually across multiple platforms: web, social, product, video, traditional, and even large-scale physical events. You'll be collaborating with partners to bring dynamic and thoughtful concepts to life that inspire not only our customers, but internal teams and the company as a whole.
As a naturally curious and creative human, you will help shape the brand presence of Rapid7 by:
Integrating our brand presence and essence into all things design while being able to tell a story
Partnering with internal content teams as well as external agencies to produce breakthrough concepts and design
Thinking big conceptually (with creative and business partners) and being able to carry that through with sketching, visualization, and implementation
Bringing a drive for creative excellence and consistency in how we see ourselves represented in campaigns, experiential design, a variety of publications, all things digital and other shared documentation
Managing the work of multiple projects, across multiple mediums at once
Inspiring product stakeholders and team members with killer visual design
Collaborating with team members including product leads, research and strategy, campaigns, development, content, and others
Over delivering on the brief by proactively seeking opportunities to uplevel brand and marketing experiences
Staying plugged into industry going ons and content trends and developing a deep understanding of how our customers communicate and where they spend time
6-8+ years' experience working in a marketing or agency environment
A portfolio of visually artful and strategic work that spans digital, social, video/motion, experiential, print, and beyond
A solid working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Applications. Interests in animation and illustration are a plus!
A track record of design and art direction for campaigns that do more than convert, they build a following
The ability to approach projects with empathy for the customer
Experience elevating a brand's creative execution and developing creative for global markets
You can manage a project from tip to tail
Strong work ethic, coupled with the ability to work with and coach others
You are a team player through and through with a willingness to partner with others to create meaningful and compelling design from concept to execution
Experience partnering with copywriters and content marketers
A desire to grow your current skill set and capabilities
Bachelor's degree or certificate in design, communications, advertising, or equivalent
