Rapid7 is looking for a Software Engineer to join a newly formed delivery team in Tampa that is focused on delivering Customer outcomes. We need a team player with Salesforce software engineering skills who is excellent at delivering scalable technical solutions that solve business problems and delight the customer.

This role will work closely with business and functional SMEs, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Application Administrators, and Quality Engineers to develop and deliver scalable solutions on Salesforce Service and Communities Clouds.

  • Be a key member of an IT Delivery team that supports our Customer Experience and Customer Support functions

  • Develop high quality software design and solution architectures

  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks using Agile Scrum methodology

  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, layouts, diagrams, code comments and clear code

  • Perform validation and verification testing

  • Collaborate with internal team and third party vendors to mature product functionality

We will be really excited if you have this experience:

  • 1-3 years of software development experience working with Salesforce Service and Communities Cloud

  • Hands-on experience working with Salesforce Apex, Java, Javascript, Python, C# or other object oriented languages

  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce CRM

  • Background in integration patterns and platforms like Workato

  • Experience with Git and Jenkins or similar version control and build platforms

  • Proficient with JIRA/Confluence

  • Security domain expertise or mindset

  • Hands-on experience working with one or all of these object oriented languages: Salesforce Apex, Java, Javascript, Python, C# or similar

  • Experience with Customer Experience, Support functions and familiarity with NetSuite are a plus
