Rapid7 is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the newly formed Enterprise Automation Team as it continues to grow and advance the organisation's automation and integration needs. The ideal candidate will bring the following to the table:
5 to 7 years of both manual blackbox testing and test automation of web sites and applications
Familiarity with the basics of business process automations and the SDLC around it
Experience building and running regression testing, smoke testing, exploratory testing,integration and automation testing, functional testing, usability testing
Demonstrable experience with at least one test automation framework
Experience with Git and Jenkins or similar version control and build platforms
Comprehension of test management, defect tracking, and requirements management tools.
Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and analytical/problem-solving skills
Familiarity working with CRM, ERP's and iPaaS systems
If you fit the bill, you'll do the following and much, much more:
Perform functional/automated testing of integrations/automations developed by Enterprise Automation team within Workato
Translate assigned end-user requirements into fully documented test cases and scripts in accordance with approved test plans
Execute test cases and scripts manually or using automated test tools
Participate in review of project requirements to understand test objectives and to provide input on testability of requirements
Review implementations against requirements from business stakeholders to ensure alignment with specifications
Proactively keep your project team updated on project status.
Work with department leaders to help refine the QA Process
Participate in support operations of the integrations/automations post-production.
We will be really excited if you have exposure to or experience with any of the following:
Experience with best in class RPA, Orchestration, or Automation platforms such as Workato and UIPath
Some experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#
Experience in developing RESTful API clients, automated workflows, or robotic process automation.
Background in integration patterns and platforms like Workato, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Engine or Azure
Experience with delivering enablement and documentation for business users to use your platform
Security domain expertise or mindset
Accessibility testing and tools
