We are seeking an Account Executive to focus on Federal Civilian Public Sector growth.
The perfect candidate will have demonstrated experience in this vertical with a terrific reputation for overachieving quota while focusing on the customer. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
The Account Executive will be an especially strong and creative thinker who thrives in a team environment and adopts all aspects of selling. You should be able to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment and have very strong verbal and written communication skills.

Support and transparent communication from the sales leadership team, including 1-on-1 coaching and feedback from your direct manager.
The opportunity to serve as a consultative seller to both current & prospective Rapid7 customers.
The ability to travel and be onsite with customers for QBRs, trade shows, and in-person meetings.
7-10 + years of sales experience with significant experience selling software security and/or infrastructure products to Civilian agencies
Knowledge of FedRAMP CSP program and associated controls and data governance
Reside in Washington, D.C Metro Area
Demonstrable success exceeding sales targets in past roles selling to U.S. Civilian Agencies
Demonstrable success aligning software security solutions to U.S. Federal Civilian Government Cyber mission imperatives
Experience with DHS CDM program and past success capturing large Cyber wins through this program
Prior experience selling Cyber Security products
Demonstrated history of exceeding booking and revenue targets
Significant and proven experience developing relationships with senior executives
