Rapid7's Managed Services team is looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual to help lead the launch of Rapid7's emerging MSSP Program. In this cross-functional role, you will be at the ground floor of designing and implementing our MSSP business and best-in-class MSSP experience by working across the organization to assess opportunities for program development, define priorities, and support the launch and ongoing growth of our MSSP Program.
Be responsible for ensuring the success of Rapid7's emerging MSSP business by serving as the lead advocate for MSSP partners and their ability to thrive with Rapid7.
Assess the evolving needs of MSSPs at both industry and partner level, evaluating Rapid7's ability to meet those needs through technology, program offerings, and support services.
Leverage your MSSP experience and expertise to define product and program requirements, identify gaps in our MSSP solutions, and inform prioritization decisions for product roadmap, resource planning, and areas of program funding.
Collaborate with most teams across Rapid7, including Managed Services, Channel Sales & Operations, Product Management, Support, and Enablement, influencing and supporting their efforts to deliver world-class MSSP solutions.
Devise and evolve business and technology requirements across multiple owners of MSSP partner success, and influence prioritization for major tech roadmap projects.
Develop in-depth understanding of Rapid7's MSSP technology offerings and capabilities, enabling you to highlight strengths and weaknesses in Rapid7's ability to help customers reach their desired security operations outcomes.
Maintain active communications with the partner community and use the feedback loop to further update program requirements and prioritizations.
Partner with Program Management leaders to drive success across business units and improve Rapid7's partner-related processes.
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, like the Channel Operations & Programs team (to ensure alignment with Rapid7's Partner Program) and the SOC team (to define ideal partner characteristics and inform partner enablement).
Maintain MSSP expertise by staying abreast of industry and competitive insight while cultivating relationships with current partners, prospective partners, and Rapid7's Channel Sales team.
4+ years of experience with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) who deliver a variety of services that includes detection & response
2+ years experience in product or program management / analyst role or similar function
Experience working across organizations to implement large-scale business processes
Strong writing skills
