Rapid7 is seeking a hybrid Senior Business  / Operations Analyst to join our growing Enterprise Automation team as it continues to grow and advance the organization's automation and integration needs. 

We need a curious and analytical business analyst with process expertise, data know-how, technical chops and the personality to foster good discussions and great relationships with business partners on intelligent automation business enabled solutions. 

The ideal candidate will be driven, courageous, innovative and passionate in helping us to look for new ways to intelligently automate Rapid7 who has proven experience of solving business problems using technology, data, process reengineering and business analysis skills. 

The Enterprise Automation team's aim is to free our internal teams to apply their best intelligence to our biggest and most difficult problems which will ultimately help make our  customers successful and advance security for all.

We will enable this by automating and innovating our internal processes.

In this role you will:

  • Synthesize and analyze data from different sources to drive actionable automation strategies, assist in streamlining key business processes, and drive performance improvements for the business using intelligent automation technology.

  • Accelerate customer achievement by enabling world-class business processes and systems through process redesign and intelligent automation.

  • Create just enough documentation, engage in research, consider process redesign with an eye on continuous improvement using intelligent automation technologies. 

  • Attend and participate in agile software delivery ceremonies 

  • Facilitate decision making and shared understanding to solve business problems 

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and colleagues to deliver automation solutions that make a positive business impact

  • Build, leverage, and apply partnerships with other Moose (aka - stakeholders, users, SMEs) AND with agile software delivery teams (engineers, architects, admins) to strategically drive the continual improvement of Rapid7's business processes

  • Foster a culture of innovation 

  • Provide consultative guidance to enable business led intelligent automation outcomes

We will be really excited if you have these experiences:  

  • 4+ years as a Senior Business Analyst as part of an enterprise IT technology team that works with a variety of business functions 

  • Experience in working with developers to build repeatable, maintainable automation solutions  

  • Curiosity, strong communication and relationship skills coupled with people, IT and corporate savvy

  • The ability to work effectively with other business analysts, key stakeholders, application administrators and end users to understand business and functional requirements and translate those requirements to agile software development product backlog items

  • Experience with delivering enablement and documentation for business users to use your platform

  • Possesses the confidence to implement change and improve on the status quo. Experience in change management practices a plus

  • Resilient and resourceful individual that enjoys solving complex problems. 

  • Quick learner who is naturally curious and thrives in the face of the unexpected, ambiguity and change. 

  • Mindset to bring fresh ideas on how technology can be used to solve big problems
