The Role

The ideal candidate is an experienced SEO marketer and high-impact self-starter who has hands-on experience in all aspects of SEO.  In this highly collaborative role, the manager will be responsible for SEO strategy, day-to-day management and elevating SEO mindshare across the organization.  This role requires a strong understanding of how technical and content strategy impacts SEO, problem solving skills, prioritization, process creation and implementation with strong ability to turn insights into action.  This is a newly created hands-on global role reporting to the Director of Digital Strategy with one direct report.  A fantastic role for someone looking to grow a channel with tremendous opportunity, drive change, strong executive team support and in-house resources across content, product and development teams ready to partner with you!   

  • Manage all activities related to SEO channel management including: conducting site audits and translating findings into technical requirements, conducting content audits and developing recommendations, monitoring performance and driving insights to action

  • Deliver on SEO best practices in alignment with Google's changing landscape while educating and establishing workflows and priorities with core teams

  • Partner with content and product teams on strategies and requirements that drive content creation, on-page optimization and information architecture updates tailored to each phase of the user journey

  • Partner with analytics team to create and deliver SEO performance reports, and provide actionable insights on a regular basis 

  • Mentor, develop and inspire one direct report


About You:

  • You have 5-7 years of hands-on experience working directly on SEO at a B2B company (a plus!)

  • You have advanced knowledge of analytical software such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Conductor, SEMRush and/or other common platforms with hands on experience and regular usage

  • You have a baseline of technical understanding to partner with front-end web developers, build technical implementation requirements and recommendations for site optimization

  • Experience using data to formulate an approach as well as measurement of SEO performance and optimizations

  • You have bias for action, not afraid to initiate change and can effectively manage multiple priorities while also comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment 

  • Process and detail oriented. The role requires great attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, and create new processes to evangelize across teams

  • Strong communication skills with experience in storytelling, SEO education, getting buy-in and driving change across all levels of the organization
