Microsoft SQL Server 7 is vulnerable to buffer overflow vulnerabilities in several stored procedures. These vulnerabilities can be exploited by any authenticated SQL Server user.
Once logged in, the a malicious user may be able to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the account used by the SQL server. This would allow the user to gain full control over the server.
With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
