Description

The affected asset is vulnerable to this vulnerability ONLY if it is running one of the following modules: mod_cache. Review your web server configuration for validation. The recall_headers function in mod_mem_cache in Apache 2.2.4 did not properly copy all levels of header data, which can cause Apache to return HTTP headers containing previously used data, which could be used by remote attackers to obtain potentially sensitive information.

Solution(s)

  • apache-httpd-upgrade-2_2_6

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
