Description

The ElGamal implementation in Libgcrypt before 1.9.4 allows plaintext recovery because, during interaction between two cryptographic libraries, a certain dangerous combination of the prime defined by the receiver's public key, the generator defined by the receiver's public key, and the sender's ephemeral exponents can lead to a cross-configuration attack against OpenPGP.

Solution(s)

  • centos-upgrade-libgcrypt
  • centos-upgrade-libgcrypt-debuginfo
  • centos-upgrade-libgcrypt-debugsource
  • centos-upgrade-libgcrypt-devel
  • centos-upgrade-libgcrypt-devel-debuginfo

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
