Description

Many Creative Labs applications and system tools come with the Creative Software AutoUpdate Engine ActiveX control, a component used to provide automatic update capabilities. This ActiveX control is provided by the file "CTSUEng.ocx" and is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by enticing the user to visit a malicious web page passing a long "CacheFolder" property value to the ActiveX control.
