Description

In versions prior to v1.11.5 of the official CVS server, it is possible for an attacker with anonymous, read-only access to cause the daemon to invoke free() twice on user-supplied data and execute arbitrary code under the privilege of the CVS server.

Solution(s)

  • cvs-upgrade-1_11_5

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
