Description

Certain versions of the CVS daemon, when using TCP pserver functionality, are vulnerable to information leakage issues through an undocumented history retrieval feature. As a result, a logged in user can determine which files on the remote filesystem are accessible to the CVS daemon.

Solution(s)

  • cvs-upgrade-1_11_17
  • cvs-upgrade-1_12_9

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
