Description

Evidence of infection with the Deloder worm and backdoor has been found on the system. This worm spreads by exploiting weak Windows passwords and copying itself to Windows shares and into the registry.

The worm installs a VNC-based backdoor which allows remote attackers to control the system. Once infected, a system will attempt to advertise its status by connecting to one of thirteen remote IRC servers.
