Description

By sending an overly long string as the NetBasic module name, a buffer overflow can occur. This would allow malicious users to execute arbitrary code on the Netware server. A sample URL would be:

http://server/nsn/long-module-name

Where long-module-name must be 230 characters or more.

Solution(s)

  • http-netware-netbasic-module-name-bof
