Description

THTTPD versions 2.21 to 2.23 beta 3 are vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the defang() function which replaces '>' and '<' characters with '>' and '<'. An attacker could force the thttpd service to crash by supplying a specially-crafted HTTP request with an overly-long number of either of the aformentioned characters.

Solution(s)

 • thttpd-upgrade-latest
