Description

Deerfield/Visnetic WebSite Pro (formerly O'Reilly Software WebSitePro) version 3.5.14 and earlier is vulnerable to a buffer overflow attack that uses an overly long OPTIONS request.

Using an overly long OPTIONS request, a remote attacker can overflow a buffer on the server and execute arbitrary code on the server (with SYSTEM privileges). The buffer overflow always causes a denial-of-service by crashing the web server.
