Description

A specially crafted broadcast storm of corrupt packets sent to the data multicast distribution tree (MDT) port of a Junos router will eventually cause the rpd daemon to hang. Routing-related CLI commands become unresponsive, and the rpd process must be killed to recover. This issue only affects routers with PIM enabled in a Rosen MVPN configuration.
