Description

KDC in MIT Kerberos 5 (krb5kdc) does not set a global variable for some krb4 message types, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via crafted messages that trigger a NULL pointer dereference or double-free.

Solution(s)

  • oracle-linux-upgrade-krb5-devel
  • oracle-linux-upgrade-krb5-libs
  • oracle-linux-upgrade-krb5-server
  • oracle-linux-upgrade-krb5-workstation

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
