This patch forbids a remote logged in user to use the powersave dbus interface, e.g. to suspend the machine. When doing cpu frequency scaling, the nice factor was not considered correctly. The patch also fixes a problem were an acpi button press was not ignored after coming back from sleep and so the system shut down again. If the haldaemon is not running, powersave opens dbus connections without closing them afterwards.
With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
