Description

The system is missing one or more SuSE security patches. A buffer overflow in psqlODBC could be exploited to crash the application using it. E.g. a PHP script that uses ODBC to access a PostgreSQL database can be utilized to crash the surrounding Apache webserver. Other parts of PostgreSQL are not affected.

Solution(s)

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
