Description

The implementation of Math.random() in Mozilla Firefox creates and exposes a "temporary footprint" when there is a current login to a web site, which makes it easier for remote attackers to trick a user into acting upon a spoofed pop-up message, aka an "in-session phishing attack."

Solution(s)

  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-3_6_4
  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-3_5_10

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
