Description

Several memory safety bugs have been identified and fixed in the browser engine used in Firefox and other Mozilla-based products. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption under certain circumstances, and we presume that with enough effort at least some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code.

Solution(s)

  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-3_6_9
  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-3_5_12

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
