An obsolete version of the PostgreSQL database server is running. PostgreSQL does not produce patches for version 8.4 and earlier, even for serious security problems. Older versions of PostgreSQL are vulnerable to arbitrary code execution attacks, SQL injection attacks, and exploits that can cause the database to crash or reveal normally unaccessible content.
With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
