Description

The following information is for Scan Diagnostic purposes only, and is not indicative of a detected vulnerability.

The scanning user encountered an error when connecting to the WMI Service. This can be caused by a number of issues:

  • The Credential used may not be valid
  • The target port may not be contactable
  • The Credential may not have the required DCOM permissions

WMI access is required for accurate Policy assessments, certain system settings required for policy assessment can only be collected via WMI.
