Scanning Diagnostics: Error when connecting to DCOM Ports

In order for WMI to operate correctly the range of dynamic ports it makes use of must be accessible.
The ports range can be configured by following the instructions here. Otherwise built-in firewall rules can be enabled to allow the required access.
WMI access is required for accurate Policy assessments, certain system settings required for policy assessment can only be collected via WMI.
