Description

Red Hat libvirt 0.2.0 through 0.8.2 creates iptables rules with improper mappings of privileged source ports, which allows guest OS users to bypass intended access restrictions by leveraging IP address and source-port values, as demonstrated by copying and deleting an NFS directory tree.

Solution(s)

  • suse-upgrade-libvirt
  • suse-upgrade-libvirt-client
  • suse-upgrade-libvirt-devel
  • suse-upgrade-libvirt-doc
  • suse-upgrade-libvirt-python

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
