Description

PyCrypto before 2.6 does not produce appropriate prime numbers when using an ElGamal scheme to generate a key, which reduces the signature space or public key space and makes it easier for attackers to conduct brute force attacks to obtain the private key.

Solution(s)

  • suse-upgrade-python-crypto
  • suse-upgrade-python-crypto-debuginfo
  • suse-upgrade-python-pycrypto
  • suse-upgrade-python3-pycrypto

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
