Description

In GNOME grilo though 0.3.13, grl-net-wc.c does not enable TLS certificate verification on the SoupSessionAsync objects it creates, leaving users vulnerable to network MITM attacks. NOTE: this is similar to CVE-2016-20011.

Solution(s)

  • ubuntu-upgrade-libgrilo-0-2-1
  • ubuntu-upgrade-libgrilo-0-3-0

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
