Description

Certain versions of Mozilla Firefox mistakenly allow a script in one domain to hijack the DOM objects of another domain. As a result, a malicious website operator can launch a Cross-Site Scripting attack to steal authentication cookies or perform privileged operations using the local user's credentials.

Solution(s)

  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-1_5_0_5
  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-latest

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
