Description

Certain versions of Mozilla Firefox ship with a flawed implementation of the GIF picture parser. As a result, a malicious web page can use a malformed GIF picture to overflow a buffer on the heap and execute arbitrary code under the privileges of the Firefox process.

Solution(s)

  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-1_0_2
  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-latest
