Certain versions of Mozilla Firefox do not sufficiently restrict Javascript applications from using the sidebar to inject script code into privileged contexts. As a result, a malicious web site can install arbitrary software and execute arbitrary code.

Solution(s)

  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-1_0_3
  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-latest

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
