Utilizing an open platform API between both solutions, Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager will ingest all known endpoints from InsightVM. This provides an authoritative source of the compliance states of endpoints on the network.
Devices that are new and haven’t been scanned can be temporarily quarantined until a scan kicked off by InsightVM is complete. Additionally, devices that have been away from the network for an extended period of time or devices that haven’t been scanned can also be temporarily scanned before granting access to the required resources.
