Our solution provides multiple levels of adaptability, including: configuration through the user interface, customization through our plugin-based architecture, flexible data model, and we expose all of our functionality via our RESTful API to facilitate automation in cloud environments.
For example, in DivvyCloud query filters identify target resources that meet a particular set of conditions. They can be used individually, or be linked together (like lego blocks). These filters can answer questions about your data in the form of an Insight, or can instruct a Bot as to what resources to take action on. DivvyCloud ships with hundreds of query filters available out-of-the-box, but importantly customers can extend DivvyCloud by using Python to write your own to filter to answer new questions you may want to ask of the data.
DivvyCloud is designed to integrate with external systems for both inbound (data aggregation, data collection) and outbound (notifications, ticketing) actions. The Integrations interface, which was first introduced in release 17.01, enables customers to easily configure these third-party integrations, such as those for Slack, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, and others.
Combined, these capabilities provide a platform that delivers immediate value out-of-the-box but is also flexible and adaptable to address unique business needs of complex customers.
