Tod Beardsley is the director of research at Rapid7. He has over 20 years of hands-on security experience, stretching from in-band telephony switching to modern IoT implementations. He has held IT Ops and IT Security positions in large organizations such as 3Com, Dell, and Westinghouse, as both an offensive and defensive practitioner. Cub Llewelyn-Davies is the Public Engagement Lead at the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre. The NCSC’s mission is to make the UK the safest place to live and work online. Cub is responsible for working with technology companies and online account providers to reduce the security burden on consumers. Simultaneously, the NCSC are working to raise consumer awareness of the action they can take to improve their online security, through their Cyber Aware Campaign.
